First Baptist Student Ministry exists to love God, love people, and serve the world by living out and sharing the life-changing realities of the gospel every place every day.
Our Student Ministry seeks to fulfill our mission through providing a safe environment for students to learn more about God, establish biblical community, serve others through mission opportunities, and equips them to live evangelically in every area of their lives!
First Baptist Adventure Kids
Our Children's Ministry is for kids ages 4 years to 6th grade. Our Children’s Ministry exists to introduce every child to the wonder of God.
Our hope is every child knows and understands three vital truths:
We accomplish this goal by having teachers in our classrooms that are trained, excited, and background checked. This ensures your child’s safety both emotionally and physically! Whether your child comes on Sunday morning or Wednesday night (or both) they will encounter people who want to share the love of Christ with them.
First Baptist Youth
Our vision for junior high and high school students is to become a community of students committed to letting God change our lives, strengthen our families, change our friends’ lives, build the church and impact our world for the cause of Christ.
As a student ministry, we take seriously our obligation to not only lead our students to a personal, one-on-one relationship with Jesus Christ, but also to disciple them. We help them learn how to have a quiet time, how to pray, how to bring someone to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and much more.
We believe spiritual growth is important. For that reason, we challenge every student to do life together with other believers in a Life Group. A Life Group is where people feel welcome and accepted. It is a place where students encounter Christ and His Word. Our students learn how to go into the community, share the Gospel and make disciples.
Student Worship Choir
FBC Student Worship Choir meets every Sunday evening at 6:00 p.m. to learn how to use the talents given to them by God through choral, handbells, and other musical instruments. Students will present a song once a month during the morning worship as well as present the congregation with various music cantatas throughout the year.
Nursery
Our trained staff and volunteers love children and sharing God with them through age appropriate lessons and crafts. Our nursery is open during Sunday School and worship for ages birth to 4 years.
Children's Church
FBC Children's Church is during the Sunday sermon time for children ages 4 years - 2nd grade. Children will sing, Bible time, crafts, & a small snack. Curriculum that is used is part of the Simply Loved Curriculum.
